Brrrrrrrreautiful

Minus 6 degrees in Oslo and heavy snowing the last couple of days. So I ran (well, jogged) twice around Sognvann after work today. 50 minutes and 7 K - not the fastest pace, but I thought I´d take it easy today. Tried to keep HR under 160 the first round, and then under 170 the next. Not tired afterwards, so that mean that I can speed up next time.

It was a really beautiful scenery. Lots of white snow on all the pines, people coming down from the woods on their ski and a pink afternoon sun. May it stay a few days!

Then we take Berlin

I might as well put out my big hairy goal for this year - to run the marathon in Berlin in September. My german host father is celebrating his 70th year around that time, so I´m going to Germany anyway. Why not do a marathon while I´m there?? Ohh, Achtung baby!

Run under Aurora

New year - new possibilities! Not much running the last month, but some really nice walks under the stars with the northern lights running over the sky. It is impossible to run yourself - the only thing you can do is to walk small steps with the face towards the sky and see the magic. I can only recommend Christmas above the Artic circle!
