Two lessons
Today´s jog (home-Galgerberg; approx. 7,5 K) learned me two lessons:
1. I need a cap or something like that when it´s raining. I am not with water in my eyes, especially not when it is mixed with a little bit of sweat and therefore is salty. It irritates my eyes.
2. I run much better when I get something to drink underway. So I just have to find out how much - or how little - before my stomach starts to say no thank you.
Other than that: I ran in 50 minutes. If I keep this pace (quite fast, but also a few stops at red lights...), I´ll manage to run my half marathon in 2 hours 30 minute. On September 5th I´ll do a test on how I behave during an actual contest. I will have a go on Sørkedalsløpet - which is 11 K.

Leste om problemet med vann og svette i øynene. Jeg hadde også det problemet en stund, men så tipset noen meg om å smøre litt vazelin over øyebrynene. Det hindrer vannet i å renne ned og det finner istedet veien ned langs kinnene. Det funker på meg. Når det regner mye så bruker jeg caps i tillegg. Lykke til i Sørkedalsløpet.
