Goodbye Bejing!
After a visit to my doctor I have realised that I have to say goodbye to my participation in the Olympics (he he). Anyway - the back pain might be quite serious. On Saturday I will be x-rayed, and then he will look at the results. I have also got some strong medicine in cause that it´s just an immflammation.
And I can no longer run (but walk).

Hi there! A long time ago I had to quit running because it hurt my back and my knees. I'm a 34 year old Californian. (My grandma was full-blooded Norwegian, by the way. She used to make lefse and say "uff da.")
Anyway, one day I discovered barefoot running, and now I run about three miles a day (on cement and asphalt) and my knees and back are fine!
Maybe you could try it? Take it nice and slow.

It might be a bit cold in winter, but otherwise I am open for new ways of running.
